Through our self conducted research we found that those new to the city, lonely people, people starting a new hobby, or those who don’t have a group for their hobby. This resulted in us planning and designing our app as an event hub for socializing within their respective hobbies, however we maintained more focus on sports.

The basis of the app is that a host creates an event people can join and queue in. As sports took center attention, me and my team had to create a name that embodies the action of joining an event, while still displaying what you can expect content wise.
TeamUp was able to incorporate these 2 ideas, being broad enough for an events app and subtle enough to be a reference to sports.

As a team we would set up specific times where we could work and collaborate together, to avoid confusion or creating incohesive designs. We assigned each other and took on tasks to complete milestones in a timely manner. Through collaboration and communication we were able to send these deliverables in a timely manner.

I was primarily responsible for the Specific Events page, Congratulations pop up animation, and prototyping.Alongside that I helped aid my teammate for the search features and information.
The specific events page was created with a sleek design utilizing information hierarchy, and to not have any elements obstructing the information. I gave the host section its own box for it to stand out, and easy access to get any additional information by messaging the host.
The process of this project took place during an intensive period of work for all members focused on more personal projects. As a result there were times where the designs were not aligned. Overall throughout this process I learned that thorough communication allows us to overcome any hurdles we may face.
